So the White House came out on Wednesday and defended its actions in Libya against its opponents who say that the action has no legal basis. Both parties are attacking the President on this. I can see the Democrats attacking him. At least it shows they are consistent. Why would the Republicans ever in their right mind attack him on this? Where was the War Power Act violations when George W waged an all out war in Iraq for no apparent reason. At least in this situation, the US is working with NATO and there are no ground troops diploid. Also, there is a clear mission in this situation. The plan is to stop a murderous dictator slowing down the Arab freedom movement.
